Giclee kunstprint, 50 x 70 cm 

Dorkwerd is een klein wierdendorp, gelegen ten noorden van de wijk Reitdiep in de stad Groningen. Centrum van het dorp is het kleine kerkje, bouwjaar 1648, dat op een wierde is gelegen.

Afgebeeld ziet u de Vismarkt in Groningen tijdens Koningsdag. Een combinatie van abstractie op de voorgrond naar realisme in de achtergrond. Verbindend zijn de gekleurde figuren die er een vrolijk en levendig verhaal van maken.

En Septembre is de titel van een chanson. Het gaat over de rust die neerdaalt aan de Côte d’Azur (Zuid-Frankrijk) nadat de laatste grote stroom toeristen zijn verdwenen.

Vlakbij Antibes ligt Cap d’Antibes.

Tussen de villa’s en privé resorts is er een publiek strandje met vrolijk gekleurde vissersbootjes. Ze liggen keurig voor anker nadat de drukte (en verhuur) over zijn hoogtepunt heen is.
